I am going to share how to make masala tea at home. I usually dont prefer to have tea outside, because i tasted it few times and disappointed always. It is a milk tea with a perfect blend of spices.
Preparation time : 2 mins
Cooking time : 10 mins
Ingredients:
- Milk – 1/2 cup
- Tea powder – 2 tsp
- Ginger – 1/2 inch
- Cardomom – 1
- Cinnamon – 1/2 inch
- Clove – 1
- Nutmeg powder – a pinch
- Mint/Pudhina leaves – 6 leaves
- Water – 1 1/2 cup
- Sugar – 2 tsp
Method:
- Peel and crush the ginger and remove skin of cardomom and crush it well
- Bring 1+1/2 cups of water to boil in the stove
- Add ginger, cardomom, cinnamon , clove and mint leaves to it
- Add nutmeg powder to it and 2 tsp of tea powder to it
- keep the stove simmer for 2-3 minutes
- Add milk and sugar to it and bring it to boil and simmer for 3-4 minutes
- Switch off the flame and strain it using strainer and serve hot

Notes:
- Use fresh spices for best results
- Adjust the taste of spices based on your taste
