Soups are really good and comfort food in chill weather and we have this as dinner also along with garlic bread/ toasted bread. I tried this soup few days back and my little one likes it so much. Try this soup
Preparation time : 10 mins
Cooking time : 20 minutes
Ingredients:
- Broccoli – 2 medium sized florets
- Carrot – 1
- Turmeric – 2
- Small onions/ Shallots – 4
- Garlic pods – 4
- Butter – 2 tsp
- salt and pepper – to taste
- Water – as required
Method:
- Heat butter in a pan
- Add shallots, garlic and saute it for a minute
- Add broccoli florets, carrot pieces and turmeric and saute well
- Add sufficient water and cook for 10 minutes in a medium flame(or pressure cook for 1 whistle)
- Switch off the flame and cool it down
- Blend the cooked vegetables in a mixie and add salt and pepper to your taste
- Heat it for few minutes and serve hot
