Horsegram /Kollu Dosai

Horsegram is one of the healthiest lentils . Made horsegram dosa few days back and it tasted really delicious. It is healthy and helps in weightloss.

Preparation time : 8+8 hours(soaking and fermentation)

Cooking time : 3 minutes

Ingredients:

  1. Idli rice – 2 cups
  2. Horsegram – 1 cup
  3. Urad dal – 1/2 cup
  4. Fenugreek/Methi seeds – 1 tsp
  5. Salt – to taste
  6. water – as required

Pre-preparation:

Soak rice, horsegram , urad dal, fenugreel overnight or for 8 hours

Preparation:

  1. Grind everything together in mixie and add salt
  2. Ferment the batter well
  3. Check the consistency and add water if it is too thick
  4. Heat dosa tawa, drizzle some oil and make dosa. Cook it in medium flame
  5. Server it with any chutney

Note:

you can use the same batter and make Idly/Idlies too
