Horsegram is one of the healthiest lentils . Made horsegram dosa few days back and it tasted really delicious. It is healthy and helps in weightloss.
Preparation time : 8+8 hours(soaking and fermentation)
Cooking time : 3 minutes
Ingredients:
- Idli rice – 2 cups
- Horsegram – 1 cup
- Urad dal – 1/2 cup
- Fenugreek/Methi seeds – 1 tsp
- Salt – to taste
- water – as required
Pre-preparation:
Soak rice, horsegram , urad dal, fenugreel overnight or for 8 hours
Preparation:
- Grind everything together in mixie and add salt
- Ferment the batter well
- Check the consistency and add water if it is too thick
- Heat dosa tawa, drizzle some oil and make dosa. Cook it in medium flame
- Server it with any chutney
Note:
you can use the same batter and make Idly/Idlies too
