Eggless Caramel Custard

Caramel custard is one of the famous dessert from Europe. It is known for its spongy and bouncy texture. This is prepared by using sugar, custard powder and condensed milk.

I am going to share the simple basic custard recipe with you all on this special year, New year 2021 and wishing you all a very happy and prosperous new year 🙂


  1. Sugar – 1/4 cup
  2. Milk – 1/4 cup
  3. Thick curd – 1/4 cup
  4. Condensed Milk – 1/2 cup
  5. Custard powder – 1.5 tsp(vanilla flavour)


  1. The main step of this recipe is preparing caramelised sugar. Heat a pan and add sugar to it
  2. Keep it in medium flame and sugar started melting and turns to brown colour. Don’t burn it
  3. Transfer it to a bowl and swirl around the bottom of the bowl
  4. set it aside for 5 minutes (caramelised sugar sets completely)
  5. In a blender, mix milk, curd, custard powder and condensed milk
  6. Add the mixture to the caramelised set bowl
  7. Close the bowl with lid and steam it for 25-30 minutes in a medium flame. switch off the flame
  8. Cool down to room temperature and refridgerate it for 2 hours
  9. Finally unmould the caramel custard and transfer it to a plate . cut and enjoy this delicious dessert
