Panakam is a traditional recipe used to make at home for some prayers as neivedhyam. It is the one of the best thirst quencher in the summer season. My mom used to make this and am sharing the same with you all. Try this tasty drink
Ingredients:
- Grated Jaggery – 1/2 cup
- Lemon – 1
- Cardomom powder -1/4 tsp
- Dry Ginger powder or sukku podi – 1/4 tsp
- Edible Camphor – a pinch
- Salt – a pinch
- Water – 2 cups,su
Method:
- In a vessel, add grated jaggery ,lemon juice and water
- Strain it to remove impurities from it
- Add cardomom powder, dry ginger powder, salt ,edible camphor
- Serve it chilled as it tastes so good
Note:
- You can add 2-3 tulasi leaves before you serve it
