Ragi Rava Dosa/Finger millet sooji Dosa

This is very simple and instant gluten free breakfast recipe. It is healthy too. This dosa is crispy and tasty like normal rava dosa. Tastes with coconut chutney and you can love it for sure. Here is the recipe

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cooking time : 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  1. Ragi Flour – 1 cup
  2. Rice flour – 1/4 cup
  3. Sooji/Rava – 1/2 cup
  4. Crushed pepper – 1 tsp
  5. Jeera/Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  6. Chopped curry leaves – 1 tsp
  7. cut green chilli – 1
  8. salt and oil – as required

Method:

  1. Take a wide vessel and add ragi flour, rava and rice flour
  2. Add water and mix everything well without any lumps
  3. Add crushed pepper, jeera, curry leaves, chilli and salt
  4. Consistency of batter is very important. It should be watery.
  5. Heat the dosa pan
  6. Pour batter from a height, so it form a thin crepe and drizzle a tsp of oil
  7. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes in a medium flame. once the bottom part becomes brown, flip it to other side carefully
  8. cook for another 2 minutes
  9. Serve it with chutney or sambar

Tips:

  1. You can add chopped onions and carrots too
  2. Use ghee instead of oil
  3. You can add chopped coconut bites and cashews for extra taste and crunchy bite
