This post helps you to make perfect sprouts at home. Sprouting mung beans at home is economical, hygienic and fresh. Green gram is high in proteins, fiber and vital nutrients.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup mung bean/ green gram
- water – as required
Method:
- Wash the Mung beans well and wash it in water for 2-3 times
- Next soak it with enough water for 8 hours
- Drain the water after 8 hours
- Transfer the soaked bean into a box or container and close it well
- Leave it undisturbed in a warm place for 12 hours (do this in overnight)
- Mung Bean Sprouts is ready. serve it
- Store the sprouts in refridgerator and use within 2 days
