Wheat Paniyaram/ Godhumai Paniyaram(Sweet)

This is a very simple sweet dish we can make it within 15 minutes and minimum ingredients. It’s healthy and kid-friendly recipe.


  1. Wheat flour – 1 Cup
  2. Ripened Banana – 1 (small)
  3. Jaggery – 2 tsp
  4. Cardomom Powder/Elaichi – 1/4 tsp
  5. Grated coconut – 1 tsp(optional)
  6. Oil/Ghee – Required to pan fry in paniyaram pan or Appe Pan


  1. Put the Jaggery in few tsp of water. once it dissolves, strain them to remove the impurities
  2. Mash the ripened banana with a fork


  1. Mix Wheat flour with jaggery and banana and make into a thick paste
  2. Add cardomom powder and grated coconut and mix well
  3. Heat the Paniyaram pan and add ghee or oil and the batter in each hole
  4. cover it with a lid and cook for 2 minutes
  5. Open the lid and flip it to other side and cook for 2 minutes
  6. Remove the paniyaram from hole
  7. super soft sweet Paniyaram is ready
