Potato Cauliflower Soup

This is the simple recipe. we can have it as a starter or light dinner. Thick creamy soup contains simple ingredients

Ingredients:

  1. Potato – 2
  2. Cauliflower – 1
  3. small onions – 10
  4. garlic – 5 pods
  5. Melted Butter – 1 tsp
  6. Jeera / Cumin – 1/2 tsp
  7. Fennel – 1/2 tsp
  8. salt and pepper powder- as needed

Pre- Preparation:

  1. cut the cauliflower florets and wash it in salt water
  2. Peel the skin of potatoes and cut it into pieces

Method:

  1. Heat a small pressure cooker
  2. Add a tsp of butter and add Jeera and Fennel.
  3. Once it crackles add chopped garlic and saute well
  4. Add Finely chopped small onions
  5. Add potatoes and cauliflower to it
  6. Add water and pressure cook for 1 whistle
  7. Open the cooker and filter the stock separately
  8. Cool the filtered vegetables and grind it to a fine paste
  9. Add the paste with stock water and boil it for fewminutes
  10. Adjust the consistency
  11. Add salt and pepper powder , garnish it with coriander leaves (optional) and serve it
